TI Opens New Programs to Start in 2016

Technion International has added three new programs to the list of its academic offerings to open in 2016 – BSc in Mechanical Engineering for high school graduates and Neubauer Professional Internship (for Credit) and Neubauer Introduction to Medicine for study abroad students.

August – A Month of New Beginnings

Hello Incoming Freshman!
Seventy-seven students from more than 20 countries started their undergraduate degree program this summer at Technion. On August 2, fifty-four students in the BSc in Civil Engineering program attended the first day of their Orientation Week, and on August 9, twenty-three students started the BSc program in Chemical Engineering.

Good Luck to Our Exiting Graduates

On August 5, 2016, the third cohort of civil engineers graduated from TI’s degree program in a ceremony attended by the Technion President, and other distinguished faculty, family and friends who came from nearly all four corners of the world: China, Nepal, India, Russia, Sweden, France, Italy, Spain and the USA.

New TI Ambassadors Initiative

Technion International will be administering the Technion Ambassadors Project (TAP), which recruits a select group of students committed to promoting cultural exchange and representing Technion and Israel in campuses abroad; US campuses will be targeted in its initial phase.

eBlogging Project Off to a Great Start

TI’s eBlogging project, which was launched in May, 2015, has been received well with substantial pickup through social media. The online initiative follows the lives of four Technion students: Monong (from China), Bracha (from USA), Pauliana (East Jerusalem) and Drew (from USA). Pauliana and Bracha graduated this summer, Monong finished her second year and is entering her third year in October, and Drew returned to the US and will serve as a Technion Ambassador at Brandeis University. We are presently working hard towards the opening of a new blogging season.
