Last week (August 5), in an intimate ceremony, 17 talented young men and women received their civil engineering bachelor’s degree from Technion. “I heard that at other universities, you realize at your graduation ceremony that you don’t know any of your fellow classmates – this is definitely not the case here! I am very honored to have had the privilege to be a part of such a supportive group of people whom I am proud to call friends – over the past four years we supported one another through very intense periods and had a chance to appreciate each other’s values, customs and talents,” said the class representative, Elias Amsellem in his speech. Many of our graduates have already made plans for after graduation: a few will be heading to grad school at Technion or the US, others will be entering the workforce in their home countries and some of them have decided to make Israel their home. This year’s graduating class represents the third cohort of TI’s BSc Program in Civil Engineering and they come from nearly all four corners of the world: China, Napal, India, Russia, Sweden, France, Italy, Spain and the USA.
Congratulations class of 2015!
