Arriving to the Technion by car:
Entering the campus from Nave Sha’anan (West Gate), turn left and continue straight until you reach a roundabout, then turn left again. At the next roundabout turn right and then immediately left. Drive down the narrow road curving right. As you reach the end of the road you will see the two-story Mauerberger Building (Soil Engineering) on your left; park in one of the parking spots. Enter the building and go up to the second floor. At the top of the stairs turn left.
Entering from Nesher (East Gate), turn right at the first roundabout. Keep driving approximately 800 meters and turn left at the roundabout (you’ll be facing the Faculty of Civil Engineering) and left again. Follow instructions above.
Arriving to the public transportation:
Haifa has two main bus-train terminals.
Hof HaCarmel – The 11 is a direct bus to the Technion. It leaves from platform 16 and runs only once or twice an hour. Otherwise take the 123 from platform 15; you will have to change at Ziv (ask the driver where to get off) to any bus going to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).
Merkazit HaMifratz – The 142 reaches the Technion. It leaves from platform 21 and runs a few times a day. Otherwise take the 16 from platform 23; you will have to change at Ziv (ask the driver where to get off) to any bus going to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).
Once at the Technion, get off the bus on the last stop; the bus usually has an automated announcement notifying passengers (in Hebrew) once reaching the Civil Engineering building (“Handassah Ezrachit”).
From this point, cross over to the other side of the street and walk towards the bridge. Walk under the bridge and follow the path until you reach the end of the sidewalk (go around the hinged barrier). Our building will be to your left. There is a sign at the entrance of the building reading Technion International.
