Technion scholarship – Funding by a Technion Professor
Visiting research students may be eligible for a scholarship provided by their host professor. However, the decision to award the scholarship is solely at the discretion of the host professor and is not guaranteed.
External scholarships
Ministry of Science Scholarship (BSc, MSc, PhD)
Visiting research students – Students studying for a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree at a university abroad who will come to the Technion for a period of research against the background of antisemitism. Funding of 2,750 NIS per month will be provided for up to five students for a visit of up to 3 months. The supervisor must provide a matching amount of at least 2,750 NIS per month and no more than 7,500 NIS in total.
Candidates can be submitted to the program during 2025 on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Melvin M. Goldberg Undergraduate Fellowship of $5000 for Research in Israel (for US students)
Research can be on any STEM topic. To apply, candidates work with an advisor at their home university to identify and confirm a willing supervisor in Israel. The MMG Fellowship is administered by the Lehigh Valley Jewish Federation and is awarded annually to a U.S. junior or senior who demonstrates the initiative, enthusiasm, and aptitude to make such arrangements. Applications are due on 1 March every year.

Azrieli Fellows Program (for PhD)
The Azrieli Visiting PhD Fellowship enables outstanding international PhD candidates to conduct short-term research in Israel, fostering collaboration with leading researchers. Azrieli International Visiting PhD Fellows will receive a stipend of 12,000 ILS per month for a period of three to four months. This funding is intended to support accommodation, international airfare, living costs, fees, and health insurance.
