Erasmus+ Staff Mobility
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport for the period 2021-2027.
It offers a range of opportunities for higher education students, doctoral candidates, staff and institutions from around the world.
The main objectives of the program include peer-learning, networking, transfer of knowledge and sharing of experiences and best practices.
Erasmus+ staff mobility should benefit all parties involved from both institutions.
The mobility project (agreement) includes one or more of the following:
- Staff Mobility for Teaching
Period of Stay: between 5 days to 2 months (must include mandatory 8 teaching hours per week)
• Staff Mobility for Training
Period of Stay: minimum 5 days (for professional improvement). Some universities include two additional days for travel to/from the host university – 5 days training + 2 days travel = 1 week.
• Student Mobility for Studies
Period of stay: minimum 3 months – Students must contact: outgoing@int.technion.ac.il
Erasmus+ program funds are for the cover of travel expenses and living expenses as defined by the European Union. A fixed amount is allocated per mobility and may vary in each country and University.
Please note: Due to increased travel costs from Israel to Europe the grant may not fully cover the travel expense. In such case, the supervisor of the administrative staff should check if the faculty can cover the missing funds. The Erasmus+ office at Technion International does not cover additional needed funds.
How to organize the mobility:

mandatory teaching hours).
B. Administrative staff can choose between

- Find a staff member to host you at the university, and receive an invitation letter from the staff member who is willing to train you on your specific role/field
