We develop new computational methods, and improve existing methods, for solving various problems related to structural dynamics and wave propagation in structures and acoustic media. Examples (certainly not exclusive) include damage identification in structures (inverse problems) using wave methods, methods for mixed-dimensional models (e.g., patching 3D and 2D models into a hybrid model), and numerical methods for the solution of acoustic problems in unbounded domains.
