Upon receiving major funds for research in the fields of antibiotic resistance and pathogen genomics evolution, the Kishony lab at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology is recruiting exceptional Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows in: Experimental biology: Candidates with deep knowledge in biology and experimentation, preferably also with a strong quantitative/programming background. Data science: Candidates with quantitative educational background in CS, Math, Physics, etc., with interest in biomedicine and experience in data analysis and/or machine learning. Candidates will join an interdisciplinary research group dedicated to developing novel paradigms for predictive diagnosis of infectious disease and resistance-resilient antimicrobial treatments.
