Open positions for PhD and postdoctoral fellows. Background in immunology , including FACS analysis is an advantage. Chemokines, Cancer Immunology, T cell mediated autoimmunity. Our laboratory focuses on immunological tolerance in the interface between cancer and autoimmunity. We combine basic research and applied research. We have novel projects that use two experimental models in cancer (melanoma and colon cancer) and key projects on T cell mediated autoimmunity, in which we use models of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and IBD. The key question in all models refers to uncovering the in vivo role of key chemokines in directing dynamics of the immune response in these diseases.
