The Department of Humanities and Arts

As part of a new research initiative, applications are invited for a full-time postdoctoral position at the Humanities & Arts department of the Technion in Haifa, Israel. The successful candidate will become part of the new language and communication workgroup supervised by Dr. Tzipora Rakedzon, and conduct independent and collaborative research. The goal of the new workgroup is to conduct cutting-edge research in the field of academic writing, or in the broader field of academic communication, and to foster interdisciplinary collaborations that link the humanities to science and technology. While we have some preference for scholars working on such topics, the research topic is open and other suggestions related to English/linguistics are welcome. Apply by:  November 30^th, 2022 The applicant is required to have a PhD awarded or close to completion in either linguistics or computer related fields such as AI/NLP. Ability and desire to conduct independent research are essential; a publication record in a pertinent field is highly desirable. Pay: $30,000 per year The application (in English) should include:
